i recently got 3 points for speeding. As i was hoping to upgrade from a 650 to 1000cc later in the year, how much is it likely to bump my premiums percentage wise? Am i better off sticking to a 650 for another year or so? Why is everyone so quiet lately?

Depends to some extent on your age and insurance company. My inscos don’t care at all about one speeding ticket if you're over 25.

depends on the bike i can insure some 1000s for less than the equivalent 600.
