1 New car mot rules on Wed Feb 05, 2014 7:48 pm

As of 14 feb any diesel vehicle that has a catalytic converter or dpf filter removed

but one was clearly fitted from new will now fail the mot

just a heads up for you petrol heads

i think its more aimed at diesels now. before i found out end of last year i was going to decat my pug as its diesel. not anymore  Sad

The only way round it is cut the guts out of your dpf then weld back up. A lot of mot stations round our way have said as long as they can see it they will pass it as there not to know if the guts r still in it.

I personally just had mine remapped from 177hp to 238hp.
